My favorite character so far has been Algernon from The Importance of being Ernest. He has been my favorite because he was the funniest in the play. He also is like me in the way he likes to eat all the time. He has good test in women when he chose a rich young girl. Algernon is definitely my favorite character from all the plays we have read.

The Importance of Being Ernest has been my favorite play we have read so far. I like this play because it is a comedy and it is more laid back than the other two plays we have read. I also liked it because it was a short play and had small parts and the main parts it should have. It didn't have parts that have no meaning to the play what so ever and I like that about the play. I'm not a big fan of long plays that is why I like this play.

Dreams

I think dreams can be good or bad. Everybody has a good dream where they dream about what they want to be when they grow older, what they want to accomplish, and who or what they want to help. Then there is bad dreams like dreams of being dead or seeing someone die. These types of dreams scare people so much that they don't sleep or think for awhile. Tillie had the dream of being a scientist and studying the atom. Ruth had the terrible dream of seeing Mr. Mayo kill himself.

Self Image

Self-image means to me that when you see yourself in a mirror you are not always happy with what you see. You try to change the way you look and when you go back to look you still are not happy with the image so you try to change it again. I think that every person has a certain image and that they shouldn't try to change the way they look because God created them that way and everyone is beautiful to God. Ruth changes her image by putting on too much make-up and hardly wearing any clothes. Beatrice tells lies about when she was in school everybody thought she was beautiful and she talked about how popular she was.

Triumph in the Face of Adversity

This picture represent this theme real well because not one single person had Butler playing for the National Championship let alone coming one shot away from winning the championship.

I think Triumph in the Face of Adversity is when nobody is on your side and everybody says you can't achieve your dreams. You decide not to listen to everybody else and try your hardest to be the best you can. Since you have tried your hardest you are triumphant even though you may not win you still proved yourself worthy of winning. And if you do win that is even a greater feeling because you proved to everyone that they were wrong about you and you can achieve your dreams. In the play Tillie is able to go in front of everybody and present her project even though they laughed at her. Beatrice on the other hand doesn't have triumph in the face of adversity because she let the bad luck in her life discourage and defeat her.

This image represents me the best because I am a sports fanatic. I play multiple sports like football, basketball, baseball, soccer, and many more. I watch all types of sporting events whether its basketball, football, baseball, soccer, or hockey I will be watching it. If I didn't have sports in my life my life would be so boring and I wouldn't want to do anything. I hope that one day I could be a professional sports athlete. I got these images from Google Images.

This is a picture of my favorite NFL player. His name is Brian Urlacher and he plays for my favorite team the Chicago Bears. My dad raised me on Chicago Bears football. He always talks about the 85 Bears and how great their defense was. I base my play at linebacker on the Brian Urlacher plays the linebacker position in the NFL. I hope that one day I could be the leader of an NFL team like Brian Urlacher is for the Chicago Bears. I got this picture form Google Images.

The Chicago Cubs are my favorite baseball team. Even though they have had some bad years and even though they haven't won a World Series in 102 years I still cheer for them every baseball season. My dad raised me on Chicago Cubs baseball. The Cubs have been the family's favorite team for years. I hope that they will win a World Series Championship before I die. This picture represents the college I plan on going to when I graduate high school. It has always been my dream to attend Indiana University. I am a big Hoosier fan. When it comes to college sports like football and basketball I make sure I look for the score or I watch an Indiana Hoosiers game. My dad raised as an Indiana fan and I have been one all my life.
